The "Lease to Own" signs and advertisementS are not what they appear to be. I too, gave a deposit of $1000.00, that I was told would go towards my closing cost, to purchase our home. In actuality, and unknowingly, I had only entered into a regular lease. My family and I loved our home and thought that we would be here forever. After realizing that we were paying this incredible amount of money, with no ownership, we left. We were deceived! I know that we were not the only ones! The niceness and soft-spoken conversation, does not make up for the lies, and for the harm and inconvenience caused to many.
