We didn't take the time to have a realtor go over the contract before we signed it. We were going to purchase it after 1 year rental. 10 months into the contract I started looking for a lender. All the linders, (countrywide, other big name lenders),said that since our names were not on any paperwork (the title was still in a builders account) we could not refinance this property. SO they took the property back and we lost $16,500.00. After that he still says we owe him another $1150.00.
