When my wife and I decided to buy our first home, we were very fortunate to have found Debby Tanner at Vienna Realty. She was very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable. Her professionalism set herself apart from some of the other real estate agents we dealt with earlier in our search. She made herself available to us by phone and in person, answered all our questions, and made us both very comfortable with the process as a whole. We got our dream home because of Debby Tanner!

Dalfa sold us a house in Martinsburg that was her own listing - she was the listing and the selling agent. Dalfa promised that I would be the first one to see the house as it was just being put on the market. While we were driving to the house, she received a phone call. Her "assistant" told her that someone had already seen the home and put a full-price contract on the house. This was right at the end of the crazy home-buying period in 2005. She tricked me into believing I wouldn't get the house if I didn't offer full price, which I now know was WAY over priced. The sellers were good friends of hers - they and she lied about & did not disclose a number of very serious, expensive problems w/ the house (HVAC needing replacement, numerous leaks, Water pressure & other plumbing issues & more...) Yes, I should have done my own research, but one should be able to trust the realtor they've hired. She cannot be trusted and should have her license revoked over this.

This agent is one of the smarmiest, most crooked realtors I've ever run across. He purposely lied to my wife and I about a house we were considering buying through him. He said it had been on the market 1 week and they'd already had 2 offers. Turns out (we found out through the neighbors) he had had it on the market a year and no offers! He was lying to us to drive up our bid when he was supposed to be representing our best interests. What a liar and a cheat! He gives realtors a bad name! When we confronted him, he turned into a loud-mouthed, obnoxious jerk! He said we had a buyer's agreement with him and we HAD to use him to buy this house. Well, we finally threatened to report him to the board (and we're still considering doing that) but we were able to buy a house with another realtor -- one who was actually honest.

Arthur was one of the most professional people that I have ever worked with. He was able to explain everything to me. That was one of the the things that I was most nervous about, being that I had never sold a house before. He even told me about things that might come up, and some of them did!

We had looked for a good real estate agent for several months. Howard took the time to show us just about every property in the entire county. We were a bit confused, however he told us we would tripple our money on one property. We bought it right away. We are so happy now that we plan to use the property to build on. Howard also does this amazing trick with a carrot. If you contact Howard, make sure and ask for the "carrot trick" by name. You will be glad you did!!

sketchy ethics, dishonest; did not disclose that he as the listing agent also owned the property he was selling; seemed to be in collusion with other realtor against out of state buyers

We sold and bought our homes with Tatyana, and have found her to be a highly professional and helpful. Our kids loved her too!

She not only found us the perfect house to match our needs and personality; she was indespensible in helping to make our long distance relocation go smoothly. I would highly recommend her.
