Dalfa sold us a house in Martinsburg that was her own listing - she was the listing and the selling agent. Dalfa promised that I would be the first one to see the house as it was just being put on the market. While we were driving to the house, she received a phone call. Her "assistant" told her that someone had already seen the home and put a full-price contract on the house. This was right at the end of the crazy home-buying period in 2005. She tricked me into believing I wouldn't get the house if I didn't offer full price, which I now know was WAY over priced. The sellers were good friends of hers - they and she lied about & did not disclose a number of very serious, expensive problems w/ the house (HVAC needing replacement, numerous leaks, Water pressure & other plumbing issues & more...) Yes, I should have done my own research, but one should be able to trust the realtor they've hired. She cannot be trusted and should have her license revoked over this.
