Born in Spokane, I grew up overseas and traveled around the world. In 1986 I moved back to Spokane to attend Gonzaga University where I graduated with a BBA, Marketing. Since then I have still actively traveled abroad, but love to call the Inland Northwest my home. I have celebrated my birthday in 9 different countries; Italy, Greece, Nepal, Portugal, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Austria, Canada, and of course the United States. I believe that my traveling experiences have really opened me up to accepting new adventures and people of many cultures. As the owner of several businesses and the purchaser of several pieces of real estate, my desire to help people not make the same mistakes and struggles led me to this exciting career. My clients trust me because I always explain all of their options in a step-by-step manner and have them anticipating their next move in advance. - The average home price is around $220,000
- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I am very active in my church and with my family. Being a Real Estate consultant gives me some flexibility to be at important events outside work.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- Making sure my clients feel like they are the most important people. As a team we work with lots of buyers and sellers. Real Estate is not a life or death transaction. Sometimes waiting a few minutes or hours can change the entire outcome of a negotiation and we need time to gather all the facts before the best decisions can be made.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- It took us 4 months looking at close to 40 homes and writing 3 offers to get the perfect home for a single mom with 2 kids. Purchase price 89,000, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a covered front porch and a big tree with a swing.
- What is your best characteristic?
- Both my parents are teachers. That has instilled in me a desire to communicate and educate my clients through all parts of the transaction.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- Beyond negotiating a great deal, I would say I am most inspired by helping families move into the best home they could possibly dream of.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- The best advice I ever received was "Slow down and enjoy life". It's to easy to get caught up in the rat race and miss all the little precious moments... Grandma Evelyn.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be in Spokane. We are close to tons of outdoor activities, have lots of arts and culture downtown, can fly to anywhere, and don't have the traffic of bigger cities.
