We were frequently surprised that Lori had been in touch with our lender or the developer, making sure that everything was moving along towards closing. There are so many places in this process where trouble can arise, but with Lori’s help, we overcame all the obstacles. We got a timely home inspection, locked in a good interest rate, and even signed the paperwork on the best day for us. She was professional, thorough, friendly, and flexible – a pleasure to work with for us and our lender and the title company who handled the closing. We have purchased and sold several homes in several states and have always had excellent real estate agents but Lori Clark is the best. She has excellent communication skills and consistently provided exceptional service. She is truly a gem.

This is only the second home purchase I've ever made and Lori Clark, with American Dream Real Estate, was absolutely the best. She was comfortable with me taking my time in looking at several places and then just me taking whatever time I needed to think about making a purchase. She was never pushy or tried to get me into a place that was more expensive, but just kept saying when it's right I would know it and I would be able to figure out which place is the right one by paying attention to which one my thoughts continued to go back to. Buying a place has it's level of stress, but Lori was always a voice of reason and was able to help keep me focused. Thanks Lori for everything. Lori sold my house to me in 2006 and I will certainly have her sell it and help me buy another one when the time is right! She's knowledgable about the surrounding areas, answers questions and does whatever research is needed to help make appropriate decisions when needed. Her warm personality and helping nature ensures you get the house you need (and what you want) without being pushed into an awkward buying situation. I've recommended her to many friends and wish her a busy year!

Lori is a wonderful agent to work with! From day one, I can honestly say that she had our best interest at heart. My wife and I actually purchased our very first home in 2006 with her as our Agent and I couldn't have asked for a more understanding and helpful person to work with. I swear, we had a million questions! We also hired her again as our listing Agent in 2008 - she helped us get our home ready to show, held many open houses and was on top of getting our home sold - even in a tough market! One of the most impressive things we noticed about Lori is that she has experience all over Skagit County and in other areas of Washington as well - we never felt stuck to one area. She also is very timely - if we had a question for her, she was always able to get back to us quickly with an answer. She's just impressive - I am glad to have gotten the chance to work with her! Jean listed our home early last June and our house was robbed the next day. Jean was annoyed that she had to wait 3 hours for the police to arrive. She also was offended by any suggestions that we had and dropped our listing. All of this cost us the month of June 07 and has a great deal to do with the house still being unsold today

Jean is an excellent business woman. She is highly rated and came highly recommended for her real estate abilities. We feel she knows the market and advertised our home well. The issue we had with Jean was that she was not the sensitive, warm realtor type. This may be fine with some people but it wasn't right for us. She did not pad her comments, often leading to my hurt feelings. Selling a house is a very personal thing. Jean is overly business-minded, therefore not always taking the homeowners feelings into account. I would recommend her to people who are not attached to their home.

Jean Groesbeck is nothing short of fabulous! After discovering I was pregnant with our second child, my husband and I decided to sell our starter home in Seattle and move to the country. I had never liked our starter home and was happy for the change. I felt it was important to have a real estate agent who was an expert in staging. Jean came to our home and gave us great suggestions for staging. After the professional photo shoot, I could not believe the transformation. When I saw our ad on line I told my husband "wow this looks like a nice house". He took one look and laughed, it was our house! When we showed friends and family our ad, they couldnt believe it was our home either. The amazing transformation resulted in our home being sold the first day one the market for over our asking price and 126K over what we had paid for it three years prior. We also were impressed by the customer service, level of contact, and the willigness to take time to educate us about our choices.
