Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
For the first time in a LONG time, it's a great time to buy! Homes are still selling, it's a matter of having a great Realtor who is aggressive with marketing and pricing. Lots of people will tell you what you want to hear. But if you're looking to buy or sell in this market, you need an experienced Realtor who is not afraid to tell you the truth!

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I love working with people. I love the challenges involved along with the freedom. I also am a marketing buff and I really get to enjoy using my skills in that arena.

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
The market has been unpredictable but has only made me more determined to work harder and change with the world around me!

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I think the most rewarding experience I have had to date was about 3 years ago with a client who grew up in NYC. She enlisted in the military and had worked hard for many years, saving up money for a home one day. She eventually met her soon to be husband and decided to settle down. I helped them find a BEAUTIFUL house with a big yard and lovely landscaping. Everything went very well. I met them at the property for the walk-through just prior to settlement and as I walked with Nina through the back yard, she began to cry. I immediately stopped and asked her what was wrong?? She smiled and said she had never had a beautiful yard. That she grew up in city apartments with no grass to be seen. I hugged her and cried right along with her!

What is your best characteristic?
Listening, understanding, and really getting involved with my client's dreams. The years of experience work very well for my clients as well :)

Who or what inspires you the most?
My children inspire me to be a better person every day of my life.

What is the best advice you ever received?
Never let anything stand in your way-not even yourself.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I love Virginia Beach. It is my home and I'm really happy here.
