- I was able to Buyer broker for a couple in both Virginia and North Carolina during a market where homes sold fast and three VA contracts failed before we located the right home in Camden, NC. To qualify, the buyers got remarried and moved "mom & dad" in with them. I was grateful to have supportive broker offices in both states.
- What is your best characteristic?
- I smile alot! I enjoy learning and stay ahead of my education requirements in real estate and tax regulations. Professionalism and ethics are critical to our industry. So I'm conscientious, thorough and improving with experience.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- A well-informed colleague who has no problem with disclosure and follow-through. Professionalism and courtesy.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- "Sooner is better than later" and "this too will pass".
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- I have found friendly people wherever I have been, but prefer rural to urban. If I can get to the mountains and the sea in the same day I'm happy. It's hard to beat Virginia!
