- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I enjoy the people I work with. It sounds a little cliche I know but getting to know clients I don't know and getting to know family and friends on a different level by helping them achieve what they want is enjoyable.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- I would love to be in a position where I could allocate all of my money to business growth and development. I have heard that when you buy a business (unrelated to real estate) often the first few years should be towards paying that business off and not taking a salary. This is very different from real estate where the barriers to entry are low but to maintain a healthy business is difficult. I feel like over the past 6+ years I have been able to maintain a healthy business even in a down market and would love to be able to "not take a salary" to devote the income towards business growth within my market.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- I would rather not share any stories from any specific client...even anonymously. I will say that an overall success story is that I can honestly say I have never sold a client a house they should not have bought.
- What is your best characteristic?
- My best characteristic is my willingness to do whatever is right and whatever it takes to get a job done correctly.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- The wealth that can be generated through homeownership inspires me to continue to want to sell houses to clients. It is the greatest form of wealth for most people in the United States and I enjoy promoting it.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- "Do what's right and do the best that you can. As long as you do that, you'll never have a hard time putting your head on the pillow at night"
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- I'm a native Richmonder and too much of a homebody to ever move away from a city that has a little bit of everything.
