The area is currently in a buyers market. Todays' buyers have alot of properties to look at and are able to make an informed decision.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I statrted to sell real estate when my family was very young. This career has been a perfect fit between my responsibilites to family and my desire to run my own business.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Actually, this has been the most rewarding, not challenging, time to be a real estate agent. The consumers today, are very well informed and a pleassure to work with. The real estate world is changing rapidly. Change is always a fun and exciting adventure.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
One of the most memorable families that I have had the pleasure to work with, was a young couple looking to purchase their first home. After we closed on the property they handed me an invitation to their wedding. I was honored.
What is your best characteristic?
I have been told that one of my best characteristics is my ability to handle the unexpected. As a real estate agent, minor events happen daily. It is my job to make sure these events do not derail the process of purchasing or selling your home. I feel being a parent of four children has given me perfect training.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My family.
What is the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I ever recieved was from my mother. It was to read the poem, The Dash by Linda Ellis. Life is not a trial run.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Interesting question! My family has had the opportuntiy to live in many parts of the United States.
The Prince William County area is a fantastic region of the country to live in. We live in an area rich in history and culture with the convenience to get to the mountains, the shore, or the city of DC in a short car ride. My husband and I plan on retiring to a small lake town in New Hampshire.
