D. & S. Derry buy a previous house with Carl Williams and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Carl Williams restored our faith in the integrity of Realtors. We searched for a home for 4 years with Realtors we wouldn't recommend to someone looking for a dog house. We were at our lowest point emotionally when we called Carl Williams. Carl listened, never pressured, kept us very well informed, drove us to any home for sale in the valley that we wanted to see (note: Carl DROVE us and didn't make us use our car or gas), always returned calls, always returned e-mail, always asked how he could be of further help, always kept our confidence, and always - ALWAYS with a smile. Carl Williams has the ability to see people and make an awesome difference in their day. We always parted smiling and laughing, and he assured he would call the next day, which he always did, and be ready to go back out there and do it all again. And he NEVER gave up on us, no matter how many times we changed our minds on our likes/dislikes. Carl Williams is our Realtor for life!
Stephani Taylor sell a previous house with Carl Williams and would not recommend them to other home sellers.
I would strongly discourage anyone from working with Carl Williams of Century 21 Elite. He was engaged as my selling agent. He was frequently deceptive. He did not heed my adamant wish to avoid selling to an investor seeking rental property. He revealed privileged financial information about me to the prospective buyers and revealed privileged financial information about the prospective buyers to me. He did not exercise due diligence in verifying the prospective buyers’ credit worthiness before urging me to accept their low offer. Immediately before the expected closing, the prospective buyers “lost” their financing, for which they were never truly qualified. Carl Williams did not return telephone calls or emails. Another financial professional involved in this real estate transaction had similar negative feelings regarding Mr. Williams. (Names/titles withheld for fear of retribution.) The prospective buyers felt they had been deceived by Mr. Williams as their buying agent.
Craig Heesch sell a previous house with Peggy Gunn and would not recommend them to other home sellers.
We approached Peggy Gunn to sell our home. She said that she would like to lease the home rather than list the home. We signed a lease. Peggy then refused to pay the lease payments and refused to list the home. We ended up losing the home and had an almost impossible time trying to get her to move out of the home. Finally she moved out once the bank foreclosed on the home. We had her "guarantee" that she would "take care of us". If we had any idea what that meant we would have never attempted to list our home with Peggy Gunn.
