What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
I also work in the foreclosure industry and with investors and homeowners that are losing their homes. I find it challenging and worthwhile to help the homeowners save their credit from a foreclosure and get them the best deal possible.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I had a client in foreclosure who was a month away from losing their home. Their wasn't enough equity for an investor to pick it up. I listed it and recieved 7 offers. The bank extended the auction for one week to let us close. Two days before closing we found out the buyer had lied to the Lender about things on his credit and couldn't close. All 6 of the other offers had already found a house so I needed to start out at zero. I was able to convince the bank to put off the auction and found another buyer. It still took another 7 months to work out the details with the bank and get the home closed with the new buyer. My clients credit was saved and even though I recieved a huge cut in my commissions (the banks do that) I was able to get the deal closed and my clients can buy a home within 2 yrs from the closing instead of 7!
