- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I love working with people to help them find and keep their dream home. I foreclosed on homes for 10 years while working for a lender. It hurt to see people leave things behind that they couldn't fit in their new place. I decided that I wanted to help them into a new home and make sure that they knew how to keep it.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- With the strong market, homes just aren't around as long as they used to be. It is hard to tell a buyer that they lost the home they were considering because someone beat them to the punch.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- I had a great couple come out from San Diego and purchase a home in the Salt Lake area. We searched through homes, missed out on one by a couple of minutes but then found an even better home the next day. They loved it so much and did a great job of decorating it and making it home. They found out 6 months later that they had to move back to San Diego and really feared that they would lose a huge amount of money on the home. We put it on the market, did some great marketing of the home and sold it in less than 2 weeks. Because of the good deal we have put together on the purchase, and the marketing to out of state buyers, the offer on their home not only got them out without owing any money, they actuall MADE money on the home in just 6 months!
- What is your best characteristic?
- My eyes. No, I would have to say my ability to deal with people and take the pressure away from them while they buy or sell a home.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- Success! Not only mine, but truly watching and helping others succeed.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space!
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- UTAH!!! I was born here but was raised in New Mexico. It took getting married, moving to southern New Mexico, then Texas and Arizona before I had the opportunity to get back here. I love the mountains!
