I forgot another item which makes both these reviews suspect....I negotiate my commissions with both buyer and seller based on the sale price and their financial circumstances which I am known for..that is why most of my business is referral or relocation...so if I were out for the money only...why would I be negotiating commissions ranging from 1-2%..when customary is 3%...so it makes both these reviews quite suspect.... and if they are valid; one can make a complaint to the Texas Real Estate Commission where in 25 Plus years not one complaint has been filed against me...again, very suspect.

I am responding to POHO's review..let me understand..he/she bought a home from me so I represented them as a buyer, but in their next sentence they address being a seller and I give homes away in a sale. Doesn't make sense...did they buy or sell? And agents such as myself are what ruin the values per POHO. Unfortunately this person is not familiar with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac who created the housing disaster; years of selling subprime loans to unqualified buyers. That is what affected the housing industry. When an agent is faced with that kind of market; then serious, aggressive action has to be taken. Many people want a Chatty Kathy Hold Your Hand Agent,they control the price; want open houses and do not want the business straight forward facts. Direct and business like is not rude. Also, some clients/buyers/sellers, I decline their business and release them after I realize they are not realistic...basically I fire them. If my reputation was so bad, there is not anyway that I could have sustained the high sales volume, and enormous referral base and income I enjoy. Recently I sold a home in the NoWest Hills Area in June 2010..three agents interviewed which I was one...two gave prices that were $50K above the true value of the home...I gave my presentation; and told them what needed to be done...the seller was fantastic; loved the direct (rude?) approach; and the home was sold in 10 days at full price....and apprsial came in right at sale price. Also, one must wonder about sites where one will not identify themselves. Yes, without question relationships do not fit all the time..the client has the right to walk; just as I have the right to fire them...this is probably the case.

In this market, she sold my home in the last six months at a price that was realistic. It was difficult to swallow but my neighbors homes are still on the market six months later. Not mine. And my home came in barely at price for appraisal. I believe these people don't like her because she basically tells you that if you are not going to go with the price, she will not work with you. She gave me 30 days at my price; it did not work and she said she would not represent me if I did not look at reality. Thank you Karen.

Horrible couple. I am glad that I terminated the listing contract with them and sold my house with another agent. Talk to them and ask them a specific house of theirs that is on the market for some time. Jeff will definitely blame the home owner and badmouth nastily. They spend a lot of money marketing online. But horrible couple. Avoid them! Price to sell, not agent to sell! Do not trust their gimmicks!

Chris and Amanda Harden are simply honest and good people that go above and beyond. I have had terrible experiances in the past with both buying and selling and I felt like every aspect was being taken care of with high importance to even the smallest detail with the Harden's. Donald Afun, The Afun Group and real estate agent Michael Bahn --- stay away from them! Scam artists, play games and legtimacy of their "firm" and licences currently under investigation by Texas and Federal authorities. Potentially scam artists and conduct potentially illegal transactions. Potential association with Texas monies fraud to Nigeria through London.

We were working with Terri to find our first house. She was extremely patronizing and belittling in the way that she spoke to us and she didn't understand what we were looking for at all. She's extremely rude and acts as if the buyer's incompetent! When she found out that we went to work with another realtor, she had the audacity to lash out and ask for some of the commission since she had "helped" us first. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

This agent is horrible.. she will not sell your house - she will try and give it away.. The current state of real estate is because of agents like her.. She is helping ruin the housing market by demanding her sellers lower the price.. and then lower it again.. I would rather have the bank take back my house, than be forced to ruin my neighbor's resale value because agents like Karen don't want to do the work to sell your house... It's a shame that a real estate agent with so many years in the market, no longer wants to work for her money... she just wants that fast money... If you want to buy a great house, for 1/3 less than it's worth... look at Karen's listings... She is rude and obnoxious - "I am just being real" she says...

She was very professional, She got my family into a house immediatly! She answerd every single one of my calls and emails straight away! We were looking for a house in august, and we told her that we needed to move right away. So right after I had called her and told her all the info, 5 min later she called me and said " I sent you some house to your email, they are all available and they are in your price range". The same day i had to work till 8 but she was still ready to show the house the very first day I called her. She told everything about the houses. She got us moved in the Next day! I recomend you all to use Jennifer. She is great. Thanks for every thing Jennifer!

I bought a foreclosure home through Zohre Shamshiri. She is one of the most knowledgeable and friendly real estate agents. She made an incredible deal for me on my house. As a first time home buyer I was so nerves. I will never forget how she was so helpful confident during all the process. I already recommended her to all my friends.

Dave was our realtor both in purchasing and in selling our home in San Antonio. As a military family, we had only a week to find a home. Dave did all the preparatory legwork for that week, sending us listings to review, developing an understanding of what we were looking for, and winnowing down a list of homes for us to look at upon arrival. When we departed San Antonio six years later, he did an equally superb job for us in selling our home. He also has an excellent eye for detail. My husband and I would work with Dave again in a heartbeat.

Stay away from him. He's a bully and a creap! He doesn't know what he's doing. He's not honest. He lies!!!

I read these reviews first before I met Delilah I instantly had a bad impression of McKenna Real Estate. However, after contacting this Realtor and working with her, she was simply professional, funny, and a trusting individual. She helped me find a beautiful studio apartment inside the Loop for an amazing price. She did this while balancing her clients. This was also during July 4th weekend, and under my specific requests of gated parking, security, etc. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone. She will return calls if you are patient and realistic in your requests.

Ross Day is a very rude and disrespectable human being. Not to stereotype the sales force but most sales people are arrogant and direct but their goal is to make "the sale". Apparently not for Ross Day. Not only was he short but was not concerned or interested and mentioned we were wasting his time. Thanks but No Thanks Ross...
