I'm so glad to be a part of Incredible Agents and even happier that you have taken a moment to read this. I moved to the Port Isabel/South Padre Island area in 1978 and received my real estate license in 1983.....so this area is my home......and real estate has been my life for many years. I enjoy working with people and successfully matching them with the property that meets their needs. I also pride myself in "playing well with others" when it comes to working with other real estate offices. Education is also an on-going goal that I enjoy very much. So, if you like to work with a REALTOR who cares about people and likes to make every real estate transaction as enjoyable as possible, then give me a call, send me a text, or an email. I'm here to help and would love to be your REALTOR. Thank you.

What year did you become a real estate agent?
1983
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
26 Years
What is the average home price in your market?
It depends on whether the home is on the water or interior. Interior Homes start around $350,000...
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
I think everyone these days are thinking more about re-cycling, going Green, harnessing the wind and utilizing solar....South Padre Island is always looking for ways to improve the Community. Contractors are no exception. We're seeing recycled glass and many other items being used in redecorating. Recycling is all around, one just has to look for these options.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
Freedom to come and go as I please and working with people. I've had the pleasure of meeting some really nice people who not only moved from customers to clients, but have also become friends....it's something that I enjoy very much. The other day I was showing property, when I heard my name....it was another client who had just closed a property with me. He said I told my friends, "That's My Realtor! and I just had to say Hi!". I guess I must be doing something right.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Currently it's financing, especially with condominiums that are rentals. I definately understand the need for tightening loan requirements, etc., but it would be nice if things would loosen up just a bit so that the average person who wants to invest would be able to do so with reasonable terms.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I've recently had three different clients tell me how happy they are with the home or condo that they each purchased in the last year. That's three success stories that make me feel happy, successful, and inspired to keep doing what I do.
What is your best characteristic?
I'm told that I am extremely patient. I guess maybe I am, I don't really think about it.
Who or what inspires you the most?
Education and Reading Real Estate related and inspiring books.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Stop listening to negative news and people...just keep moving forward and keep working with a positive attitude.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
