I had an excellent experience with Monica Nelson. It's been rare in my previous experiences to find an agent who actually take the time to listen. Monica asked all the right questions and quickly determined what I was looking for. She showed me a number of great options, all of which met my criteria. Moreover, I never felt pressured by Monica, which made me trust her opinions that much more. And, she actually gave me some recommendations regarding where I might want to put furniture in some of the rooms - God knows I needed it. Bottom line: Monica is a true professional, an extremely warm person, and I would highly recommend working with her. I hope to again in the future.

Doesn't bother to call you unless you call her. Won't keep you up to date. Blames someone else for not getting the work done. Had a deal fall through due to her lack of communication and ability to get things done on time. I quote: "I don't get paid for this, call your agent. He should be doing the work since he got paid." (hangup) You see, realtors in the greater Austin area represent the seller, in which case the post the property in the MLS database. Meanwhile, another unrelated realtor can show the house to the buyer. So, you end up having seller, realtor, buyer, realtor, for a total of 4 people in the loop. Evidently, Carol believes she need do nothing to get a lease signed, although she is the only one that can contact the seller.

I worked with Patricia to buy my first home, and two and half years later we turned our investment into dream.
