Texas Real Estate Commission Disciplinary Action
I hired Jason to manage my property (no buy/sale). Due to his conduct, TREC issued a disciplinary action that is a matter of public record and has been published in the November 2009 TRECAdvisor newsletter (page 6-7) and on their website (http://www.trec.state.tx.us/complaintsconsumer/DiscipActionResults.asp?inLicno=428926): Agreed reprimand and $1500 administrative penalty for acting negligently and incompetently in failing to properly return phone calls from a Constable prolonging a tenant eviction and failing to return phone calls promptly thus causing owner to lose potential tenants, in violation of §1101.652(b)(1) of the Texas Occupations Code; engaging in conduct that is dishonest or in bad faith or that demonstrates untrustworthiness by failing to properly list the correct number of bedrooms and age of the owner's home and misrepresenting to owner that eviction had been filed when no eviction was ever filed, in violation of §1101.652(b) of the Texas Occupations Code.
