I have been a Real Estate Broker in Lubbock, Tx for over 25 years, and have known Howard for over 10 years, and consider him as one of the most honest men I know. The above post by Carol Day has to be fictional. One, Howard has been ****ociated with Westmark Realtors for over 3 years, not Coldwell Banker. I wonder what would cause anyone to write such an agregious review on Howard. All those who know him view his character as top notch, as well as his knowledge of the business and his professionalism. He was the President of the Lubbock ****ociation of Realtors in 2006, highly respected by all his peers. I see a slandor case here.

We tried to buy a house with Howard Halford and it cost us. Don't ever give this agent any business. We gave Mr. Halford a $500 deposit on the house because he told us that he could get it sold to us for the price that we were offering if we would just put up some money to show that we were serious. So we gave him the money. When we called him back to see what to do next, he acted like he did not even know us! When we asked for the money back, he asked us what money were we talking about. We made a mistake and gave him cash because we trusted that he was ok- but that is not the way it is. He just flat out stole our money and laughed at us. A lawyer told us that it would cost more than the $500 to get it back, so we've just been had. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH HOWARD HALFORD OR COLDWELL BANKER IN LUBBOCK!!!
