Relocated from out of town and Dave made it very easy to find the home that fit exactly what I was looking for for a quick trip in to purchase. He did not show homes that were above my price point and was very well informed about the area. HIGHLY recommend.

I have purchased both improved property and unimproved land and worked with David both times! He is extremely efficient, knowledgeable and responded quickly 24/7. I have recommended David to multiple friends whom do nothing bur sing his praises (as well as myself). I don't know the facts of the prior negative feedback. I live in Virginia, and when my dad passed away in January, 2009, I needed to sell his house in Houston. I searched the web for realtors who specialized in southwest Houston. I contacted three and luckily, David Montz was one of them. I arranged to meet each one the following week in Houston. David prepared a summary of market conditions and recommended a selling price significantly higher than I would have expected. I listed with him and returned to Virginia. David arranged contractors for painting, repairs and furniture moving. Since I live in Virginia, this was an invaluable service. David kept me informed of activity and within three weeks we had an acceptable offer. I feel David represented my interests throughout the negotiations and closing process. I have been through many real estate transactions of my own, and naturally this one was more complex since I was the executor of my dad’s estate. It turned out to be a very smooth, quick sale. I highly recommend David.

My experience with David Montz Management was awful. Not only did this company make poor decisions on my behalf, never sent statements (until asked repeatedly), never told me when a repair was done, but they also rented my property to someone with dogs after I specifically said no pets. They also rented it for a lower price than what was in the contract and never got a pet deposit. I was told that the renter had great references when in fact had to be evicted after only 4 months after one month of payment. I was told this was a friend of one of David's friends. I believe references were never checked. The end result was my property was torn up, carpet had pet damage and stains. David Montz never looked at the property after all this occurred. Finally, I had to wait to get the deposit back from them. Just another fine example of their customer service. I am thankful that this business relationship is over. Beware if you are not a big company as this place does not care.
