I sold the ugliest house I've ever seen to a man newly divorcing his wife. I wrote up every kind of release of liability that I could think of so that he would not come back and try to blame me for putting him in such a wreck and he signed every single one and we closed. Two months later, he came into the office and invited me to drive with him to the home. I was amazed at the renovations he had done. From floor holes to ripped out electrical boxes to new tile and recessed lighting. Incredible, admirable. I got two referrals from him later on and consider him a friend.
