We have rented from Barbara and Benny Russell now for 2 years and are renewing for a 3rd year. We love out little house and have no real problems with Mr. and Mrs. Russell. The fact that they are elderly and established is great. They are very caring and loving people. My son absolutely adores Mr. Russell... when he comes by to fix things Eli is always right in the middle of it. Because there is no painting allowed (like in many places) we asked for the cosmetics of the kitchen be upgraded with paint and they did it for us while we were away. We have a happy comfy home for our kids to grow up in until we can purchase our own home. Thank you

I have rented from Barbara Russell for about 7 years. I have never had a landlord who explicitly cared so little about her tenents' health. If you want quality living, you should stay as far away from Barbara Russell as possible. DO NOT RENT FROM Mrs. Russell if you care about your health. We have had multiple representatives from our local gas company tell us how unsafe our living conditions are. Our landlord's response... "unnecessary precautions". Do your gas appliances vent fumes into your kitchen? Mine do, and this is considered "proper operation" by my landlord. My water heater's gas exhaust finds it's refuge in my kitchen. Mrs. Russell doesn't find reason to fix this since my extremely poor insulation prevents any heat or gas from remaining in my house. Do this sound like someone you want to rent from? Do yourself a favor, and stay as far away as possible from this slumlord.
