Inexperienced Agent

I would not recommend Lainie Peratta to my family or friends . She was very un-professional with the process of marketing and selling a home. We lost faith and trust with Lainie, when she showed no interset or effort to follow up with second showings or with the clients that were interested in our property. She lacked attention to details, such as the upgrades that were installed to sell our home. ' Fenced backyard' is poor marketing a home in Mckinney , tx ( a upscale area of north Dallas). When we addressed our concerns she terminated our contract. This shows a lack of experience and inability to provide basic customer service. Therefore, it would be difficult for anyone who is selling a home to have faith in this agent.

How many years have you been in Real Estate?: This year marks my 6th year in the real estate industry.
What is the average home price in your market?: $225,000
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?: I love helping people find their dream home! Your home is most likely the largest investment you will make in your life - I pride myself on making my transactions smooth and profitable for my clients.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?: Each transaction has it's own unique challenges. I try to face them head on and resolve each challenge that comes my way.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.: There is a limited amount of space here!! In 6 years you come up with LOTS of great stories... Overall my favorite success stories are just when someone contacts me after the sale to tell me how wonderful it was to work with me and that they plan to always use me for all of their real estate transactions. Another thing that is great is when my past clients refer their friends and family to me - that is truly a sign that they were and still are very happy with the service I gave them.
What is your best characteristic?: Patience - I understand that just because someone contacts me today does not mean they are necessarily ready to purchase today. I will offer them the information they need, but I do not high pressure anyone into purchasing a home. I want their decision to be an informed decision and for them to end up in a home they absolutely love!
Who or what inspires you the most?: I have been blessed to have so many inspiring people in my life. My family has always supported me and along the way I have had the opportunity to work with people who have really guided and mentored me into what I am now.
What is the best advice you ever received?: Treat people as you want to be treated. If new agents would keep this in mind with every client they have - our clients would all be so much happier!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?: Texas, of course!! This is the greatest place in the world!!! :-)
