I never thought I would feel comfortable with a real estate agent--after all, they are trying to see you something, right?--but this idea about realtors was shattered when I met Amanda. My husband and I were first-time home buyers and didn't know much about the home-buying process or local neighborhoods. Amanda knew it all, and presented it to us in efficient, easy-to understand language. She knew exactly which homes were going to suit us, and which were good investments that would hold their value over time. She was patient with us too, and showed us a number of homes over several months on our schedule until we found the perfect home for us. Amanda is incredibly knowledgeable about Austin neighborhoods, school districts, and getting the most for your dollar. All this, and she's just about the nicest, accomodating person you could encounter. Look no further. I wouldn't want anyone buying or selling for me but Amanda.

When we were ready to sell our first home and move into something larger we chose Amanda to sell our house and of course to help us with the purchase of the new home. The amount of work that she did for us was more than I ever could have expected or asked of anyone to do. Our situation was very complicated and there were so many balls in the air. The biggest one being baby #3 that was due very soon. So of course we had to sell and close in time to get into the new house, which we did...one week before my due date. Had it not been for her, it wouldn't have happened. Had she not been doing not only her job but also pretty much babysitting the buyer's agent our house would not have sold and we would have lost the house we wanted to purchase. She was so smart about everything, anticipated what problems that could (and did) come up and had a plan to take care of it immediately. I love her, she is the best!

Amanda is not only an expert agent but also a gifted negotiator. We had a very difficult situation when deciding to sell our house. It was in a declining neighborhood and had major foundation issues. Amazingly, she found us the perfect buyers in a very short period of time. She guided us through the process of preparing our house and even completely coordinated our foundation repair. Unfortunately, the buyers’ agent was difficult and inexperienced. Instead of letting this interfere with the sale, she worked with the agent, keeping her poise and patience. This sale had the potential to be very stressful, but we were left with complete confidence in our contract.

Amanda is very personable and detailed. She has a knack for feeling out what kinds of homes will make you go "ah!" She found me a wonderful home even though I had a tight deadline, and a limited area of town to work with. She found lots of options in my price range and helped me understand the entire purchasing procedure. I felt comfortable and well taken care of from day one. Got me top dollar for my house
I spoke with Amanda early on when I was thinking of selling my house. We discussed options and my timeline, as well as what my house would sell for as is and what it would sell for after some improvements. We worked out what would get me the best bang for the buck and I with a few months of work I was able to get top dollar for my house. She had great insight into getting my the most money for my house despite the down market.
Great investment know-how
Amanda helped me find a great house for me to live in now and turn into a rental later. Her knowledge of investment properties was top notch. Viewing houses with her was a pleasure, not only does she listen to what you want, but figures out what you want before you can even voice it! On top of that she must have had a past life as an inspector since she pointed out things I'm sure 99% of the realtors out there would never see.
