If you think sellers are scammed, imagine what buy
We bought from HomeTex in 2005 and it has been the worse experience of our lives! They first locked us into a variable rate loan despite all the paperwork they presented saying fixed. We struggled making the payments as the interest creeped over the next few years. Unfortunately, the house was trapped in a foreclosure lawsuit from the loan Jason used to purchase the home originally, so we could not refinance the home outside of the company. We tried everything including all the crappy Housing programs introduced, but no one would let it happen with the lawsuit going on. HomeTex finally agreed to refinance, but only for the original loan amount, despite us having the outstanding loan and having paid on it for almost 4 years. They basically took all the money we paid and pocketed it and then had us restart the 30 year term. Now, we can't refinance with the banks due to the economy. I won't even start about the "fixes" done to the house before we bought it. Every one of them has cost of thousands of $$ since being in the home, despite having an inspection done. Jeff used to be very hands off, but is now hands on. He has been helpful since the last refinance.
fraud/crook
Jason Lippman, is a liar/ crook, They paid 2months fine, then stopped, I immediatly, starting calling and got excuses, and I keep going above until I finally got an attorney, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HOMETEX, LLC AT 1208 E 7TH STREET, AUSTIN TX 78701, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CREDIT
Exposing Jason Lippman as a fraud
Jason Lippman in nothing less than a real estate predator. He abuses his real estate knowledge and understanding for personal gain without regard or consideration for anyone. I completely agree with the gentleman encouraging us to report him to the board of realtors and the department of savings and mortgage lending. Enough whining and complaining...we must act and report him! He needs to be exposed and the general public warned about this un-Christian man! Did you know he lives in a $1,076,706 million dollar home in Austin? I bet he doesn't pay his mortgage late. exposinghometexfraud@yahoo.com
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM!!!
I sold a home to these people cause I was pregnant and single. He did okay for a little bit then didn't pay my loan for 6 months. My credit is shot!!! What can I do do make him responsible for this. He acts as if this isn't his problem. I worked hard to keep my credit score up and he demolished it. :(
Sleazy tactics
My girlfriend has the same issue; behind 4 payments, nothing she can do, and he doesn't return calls. Pond scum! An attorney said the contract was legal and ethical, but the board of realtors says she can file an ethics complaint, and also said she should file with the Dept of Savings and Mortgage Lending for mortgage fraud. There is also a mortgage fraud division with the TX AG. She'd like to see this guy behind bars...
Sellers Beware of HomeTex/Lending Group/Tenzing In
Sellers beware of Home Tex/Lending Group/Tenzing Investments all owned by Jason Lippman. It only took him 6 months to completely ruin our credit. We now have credit card companies closing our accounts and lowering our available credit all because Home Tex (Jason Lippman) failed to make 5 consecutive mortgage payments. He only brought the account up to date because the foreclosure letter was about to go out and I threatened to contact the current owners to let them know their house was about to be foreclosed. Here's how the scam works. You sell him a property that you want to get rid of for what's left on the loan. He takes ownership of the property and sells it to a third party who is now making payments to him but the loan stays in your name. Jason is supposed to make the mortgage payments to the original loan, but if he doesn't...you are screwed. He is also working for Far West Capital. We are looking for other victims to join a class lawsuit!!!-exposinghometexfraud@yahoo.com

I have contacted the webhost and requested that the review below be removed because it is for the wrong person. Until then, please disregard as I have not done personal business with this specific realtor.
