CROSSTOWN PROPERTIES IS HORRIBLE
JIM WILSON HAS NO CLUE HOW TO TALK TO OR TREAT PEOPLE LIKE HUMAN BEINGS. THE ONLY WAY HE KNOWS HOW TO TALK IS DOWN TO YOU. HE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOTHING & WILL NOT PAY ONE CENT TO TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING ON THE PROPERTY. I JUST DEALT WITH SO MANY THINGS IN OUR HOME JUST BECAUSE WHATEVER IT WAS CAN NOT BE WORSE THAN TALKING TO JIM WILSON. SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY TO BE MOVING.
Horrible
Horrible experience with Jim Wilson and the staff of Crosstown Properties. They have no regard for people and are out to make an easy buck for applications. We applied and were denied because of a typo on the application. When we tried to correct and re-submit they denied to re-accept it and just took our $80 for application. Rude and dry communication, whatever you do, DO NOT use Crosstown. I found many other Agents/Realtors in Austin. Crosstown is the worst of all.
Jim Wilson / Crosstown Properites
I would not recommend anyone every renting a home managed by crosstown properties and Jim Wilson. He is unreachable, rude, and unreliable. He expects his tenants to respond promptly to his requests/emails or else, yet he refuses to answer your emails or return your phone calls. It is so bad I had to drive all the way down to the property office off Bee Caves and when I arrived the door was locked and no one was there. God forbid you dont follow up on your end of the lease agreement. My roomate opened a work request months ago with no response. But dont dare pay your rent a day late. Jim Wilson needs to seriously take a class in people skills. He is a dealing with a business client relationship and should treat his clients with more respect. I would not recommend anyone property owner or renter go through Crosstown Properties.
Incompetent Property Manager
I have delt with Jim Wilson for the past five years, and he is a horrible property manager. He does not return phone calls, e-mails, or even traditional letters. He is impossible to get a hold of if there is a problem. Even if you are able to get in touch with him he is extremely vile, and rude. The condition of the appliances in the properties are questionable at best, which are, or could be threats to the safety of the tenants. Jim Wilson does not have any perceivable managment skills, or people skills, and should not be trusted to manage any property.
