Even other agents know how unprofessional he is
I was renting an apartment when Nick Cochrane took over the management of it. He would make arbitrary decisions with no advance notice. Like putting notes in our mailboxes on Wednesday (illegal, Nicky!)to let us know he was shutting off the gas on Monday and we'd have to arrange to turn it on ourselves. It seems to have escaped his notice that we did not have separate gas meters. He just decided we should share the expense among ourselves. Southern Union Gas thought differently though it did take them and the Tenants council to convince him. Look at his website. It says voted best in customer service in 2008. By whom? Doesn't say. Probably by the office staff. The BBB takes a dim view of that. They've contacted him about removing it, but they do not answer. I wouldn't trust anyone who doesn't try to clean up their BBB rating. When I moved, I was talking to the apartment locating service rep. I said I wasn't sure I'd have a very good reference from my current landlord because I'd stood up to his blustering and posturing too often. When she found out it was Nick, she told me not to worry. Everyone who left Campus and Central got bad references and no one paid any attention to him. "I made sure my niece didn't go anywhere NEAR his properties when she started UT."

Campus and Central Properties
I have used Campus & Central Properties and used to regularly be in the office to pick up packages as I lived off of the back of their building in a very well priced efficiency. I actually got to know everyone there, to some degree, after living there for a year and am blown away by the other reviews and decided to post one myself. I never had any trouble with them and always was well taken care of… I have and would definitely recommend them to friends. Dustin, the marketing manager, actually showed me my unit and leased me. He has always been extremely helpful and patient with any and all of my requests. I suggest before judging by the other reviews, that sound like angry destructive people that might not have gotten all of their money back, to call and speak with him directly and make your own mind up.
Huge Asshole
Would not recommend. Talked on his phone the entire time. Was very rude and pushy. Huge douche asshole. Talked about himself the whole time and how rich he is. Never use this asshole, and hopefully he'll leave the business forever.
Steal, cheat, does not disclose anything
Nick Cochran will tell you anything to make a buck. Don't trust him for one second. If it sounds to good to be true....
Nick Cochrane - Realtor/Guido/Douche
I had the disgusting pleasure of meeting Nick Cochrane whe he brought a perspective renter to my property. I have never witnessed someone be as rude and pushy towards their own "client" as Nick Cochrane was. He looked like an abusive husband telling his wife what she will and won't look at. Typical "Guido" douche bag. Scenario: The initial greeting informed me that the renter is looking for washer and dryer connections in a 1br. I informed the prospective renter and Nick Cochrane that we only have connections in a 2br, however we do have 2 laundry facilities on property to accomodate her needs. Nick took a step back to answer his phone and she immediately responded that she would like to see an apt, because the price is good and the Washer/Dryer connects is not a deal breaker. We began to discuss other details and fill out a guest card, all the while Nick Cochrane was on his cell phone, pacing behind her chair, discussing his evening plans. He then hung up his phone and told her not to continue with the guest card, because he knew of places that had washer and dryer connects in a 1br. (If he knew of better locations, why waste her time at the wrong place for her?) She hesitated and looked confused, but again he re-iterated for her to come on. She shook my hand, said thank you with blushed cheeks, an embarrassed demeanor and left my office. Now, I have seen husbands, boyfriends, and definately wives and girlfriends be so blunt, but when its their home and prefferences that matter. Never in my time in this industry have I seen a locator/realtor dominate a client and her search for a home. I felt for her so much I made it a point to get out to the parking lot before they left, just to get a business card so I could post this review and spell names correctly. I highly suggest not to call or have any association with Nick Cochrane / Campus & Central Properties. From the reviews I have read myself, it looks as though I am not alone. Take Everyone's advice on this one and don't make a similar mistake!

Nick is unprofessional and one of the biggest sleezeballs I have had the misfortune to meet. He'd charge his own granny for a parking permit. I strongly suspect him of kicking babies and peeing on puppies. He is dishonest, rude, arrogant, and totally lacking in any form of basic human kindness or feeling. As people go, he'd make a great fencepost. What a dick!
