Karen Miller buy a previous house with Karen Heesch and would recommend them to other home buyers.
I forgot another item which makes both these reviews suspect....I negotiate my commissions with both buyer and seller based on the sale price and their financial circumstances which I am known for..that is why most of my business is referral or relocation...so if I were out for the money only...why would I be negotiating commissions ranging from 1-2%..when customary is 3%...so it makes both these reviews quite suspect.... and if they are valid; one can make a complaint to the Texas Real Estate Commission where in 25 Plus years not one complaint has been filed against me...again, very suspect.

I am responding to POHO's review..let me understand..he/she bought a home from me so I represented them as a buyer, but in their next sentence they address being a seller and I give homes away in a sale. Doesn't make sense...did they buy or sell? And agents such as myself are what ruin the values per POHO. Unfortunately this person is not familiar with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac who created the housing disaster; years of selling subprime loans to unqualified buyers. That is what affected the housing industry. When an agent is faced with that kind of market; then serious, aggressive action has to be taken. Many people want a Chatty Kathy Hold Your Hand Agent, they control the price; want open houses and do not want the business straight forward facts. Direct and business like is not rude. Also, some clients/buyers/sellers, I decline their business and release them after I realize they are not realistic...basically I fire them. If my reputation was so bad, there is not anyway that I could have sustained the high sales volume, and enormous referral base and income I enjoy. Recently I sold a home in the NoWest Hills Area in June 2010..three agents interviewed which I was one...two gave prices that were $50K above the true value of the home...I gave my presentation; and told them what needed to be done...the seller was fantastic; loved the direct (rude?) approach; and the home was sold in 10 days at full price....and apprsial came in right at sale price. Also, one must wonder about sites where one will not identify themselves. Yes, without question relationships do not fit all the time..the client has the right to walk; just as I have the right to fire them...this is probably the case.
Ed Milnick sell a previous house with Karen Heesch and would recommend them to other home sellers.
Karen has almost 25 years of experience. She calls it like it is whether you want to hear it or not. Her figures come directly from market analysis and she gives the highs and the lows. In this market, she sold my home in the last six months at a price that was realistic. It was difficult to swallow but my neighbors homes are still on the market six months later. Not mine. And my home came in barely at price for appraisal. I believe these people don't like her because she basically tells you that if you are not going to go with the price, she will not work with you. She gave me 30 days at my price; it did not work and she said she would not represent me if I did not look at reality. Thank you Karen.

POHO buy a previous house with Karen Heesch and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
This agent is horrible.. she will not sell your house - she will try and give it away.. The current state of real estate is because of agents like her.. She is helping ruin the housing market by demanding her sellers lower the price.. and then lower it again.. I would rather have the bank take back my house, than be forced to ruin my neighbor's resale value because agents like Karen don't want to do the work to sell your house... It's a shame that a real estate agent with so many years in the market, no longer wants to work for her money... she just wants that fast money... If you want to buy a great house, for 1/3 less than it's worth... look at Karen's listings... She is rude and obnoxious - "I am just being real" she says...
Bill Hoffa buy a previous house with Charles Rathgeber and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
Charles was a pain to work with. As the buyer of a property he was the listing agent on it took him 2-3 days with each piece of paperwork he needed to return. He waits until the deadline in order to do things required. He also did not bring everything required to closing. Upon contacting him to get said items, he was very rude and unresponsive. I expect professional, prompt, intelligent and respectful realtors. If you are looking for those things I'd look elsewhere.
Austin Homebuyer buy a previous house with Charles Rathgeber and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
Charles does not pay attention to details, which is of utmost importance when working in real estate. The lack of response within a timely fashion when negotiating a contract floored me.
Amy Slaughter buy a previous house with John Pendleton and would recommend them to other home buyers.
I have been renting an apartment managed by Prime Properties for 3 years now, and it is the best rental situation of my life!! The entire staff is nice, friendly, and helpful! Maintenance requests are answered really fast and they do everything that they can to make sure you are satisfied! I would definitely recommend Prime Properties to anyone who is looking to lease an apartment from them.

INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED buy a previous house with Jim Wilson and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
JIM WILSON HAS NO CLUE HOW TO TALK TO OR TREAT PEOPLE LIKE HUMAN BEINGS. THE ONLY WAY HE KNOWS HOW TO TALK IS DOWN TO YOU. HE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOTHING & WILL NOT PAY ONE CENT TO TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING ON THE PROPERTY. I JUST DEALT WITH SO MANY THINGS IN OUR HOME JUST BECAUSE WHATEVER IT WAS CAN NOT BE WORSE THAN TALKING TO JIM WILSON. SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY TO BE MOVING.
TH buy a previous house with Bill Heathcock and would recommend them to other home buyers.
I recommend that you do not use Bill Heathcock as RE agent, landlord or anything.
Zack buy a previous house with Julie K Leffelman and would recommend them to other home buyers.
My wife and I have purchased many homes in the past 22 years and Julie was by far the greatest agent we have ever used. She is very professional and always had things under control. We have and will continue to refer our friends and family to her.
Annoymous buy a previous house with Jason R Lippman and would recommend them to other home buyers.
Please disregard the predatory lender review, I thought it was for a different Jason Lippman in a different part of Texas. I have contacted the webhost and requested that the review below be removed because it is for the wrong person. Until then, please disregard as I have not done personal business with this specific realtor.

Do not use this realator or his company Hometex/The Lending Group/or various title companies that he has listed at the same address. This realtor has sold homes that have liens on them without paying off the liens. He has defrauded many people, please do not buy, sell, or do business with this man or his companies, he is a fraud!!
Never again.. buy a previous house with RL Struhall and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
I do not recommend R.L Struhall... after living there for almost 6 years... only because it was the only thing I could afford at the time, I went through a series of events where any maintenance work orders were ignored. It got to the point where my brother would come over to fix minor repairs... I was a single parent and yes their rent was cheap at the time. After being there 6 years, my tolerance level just couldn't take anymore of the laziness and rudeness from the office staff and maintenance people, I finally moved out only to be hit with a civil law suit for "damaged carpet", which already looked 10 years old when I moved in the duplex; my normal wear and tear gave them a reason to sue me for not wanting to pay for "replacing damaged carpet"; also for repainting the walls, which to me was an improvement to the hell hole I moved into. I'm sure if COA Code Enforcers visited all of Struhall properties, they would be cited.
M.G. buy a previous house with Nick Cochrane and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
I had the disgusting pleasure of meeting Nick Cochrane whe he brought a perspective renter to my property. I have never witnessed someone be as rude and pushy towards their own "client" as Nick Cochrane was. He looked like an abusive husband telling his wife what she will and won't look at. Typical "Guido" douche bag. Scenario: The initial greeting informed me that the renter is looking for washer and dryer connections in a 1br. I informed the prospective renter and Nick Cochrane that we only have connections in a 2br, however we do have 2 laundry facilities on property to accomodate her needs. Nick took a step back to answer his phone and she immediately responded that she would like to see an apt, because the price is good and the Washer/Dryer connects is not a deal breaker. We began to discuss other details and fill out a guest card, all the while Nick Cochrane was on his cell phone, pacing behind her chair, discussing his evening plans. He then hung up his phone and told her not to continue with the guest card, because he knew of places that had washer and dryer connects in a 1br. (If he knew of better locations, why waste her time at the wrong place for her?) She hesitated and looked confused, but again he re-iterated for her to come on. She shook my hand, said thank you with blushed cheeks, an embarrassed demeanor and left my office. Now, I have seen husbands, boyfriends, and definately wives and girlfriends be so blunt, but when its their home and prefferences that matter. Never in my time in this industry have I seen a locator/realtor dominate a client and her search for a home. I felt for her so much I made it a point to get out to the parking lot before they left, just to get a business card so I could post this review and spell names correctly. I highly suggest not to call or have any association with Nick Cochrane / Campus & Central Properties. From the reviews I have read myself, it looks as though I am not alone. Take Everyone's advice on this one and don't make a similar mistake!
Kevin Smith buy a previous house with Jeff Kessler and would recommend them to other home buyers.
I really enjoyed working with Jeff. He provided great customer service during and after the purchase of a house. I highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking about buying or selling a house.
Amber Nisely buy a previous house with Amanda Keith Cribbs and would recommend them to other home buyers.
When we were ready to sell our first home and move into something larger we chose Amanda to sell our house and of course to help us with the purchase of the new home. The amount of work that she did for us was more than I ever could have expected or asked of anyone to do. Our situation was very complicated and there were so many balls in the air. The biggest one being baby #3 that was due very soon. So of course we had to sell and close in time to get into the new house, which we did...one week before my due date. Had it not been for her, it wouldn't have happened. Had she not been doing not only her job but also pretty much babysitting the buyer's agent our house would not have sold and we would have lost the house we wanted to purchase. She was so smart about everything, anticipated what problems that could (and did) come up and had a plan to take care of it immediately. I love her, she is the best!
