Worse Than a Stereotypical Property Manager
Don't ever buy or rent a property from this jackass. He'll do everything in his power to avoid any maintenance, whether it is bringing a property up-to-code, or keeping a fence standing. I have a dog and a 4-year old child who frequently play in the backyard and this SOB doesn't seem to feel that it his obligation as a property manager to keep the fence standing upright. Make sure that you read all of the fine print he puts in any document he sends, because he will use it against you in some way.

If you can avoid doing business with this man then do yourself a favor and avoid him. He fails to do anything in a timely manner, he feels no responsibility as a property owner, and he will do everything he can do word things in a manner that can keep him from obligating himself to anything. I suppose if you own a property and are looking for a property manager who will not make any repairs for your tenants then call Marc.
Property Sale
Recently I had to put up my house for a quick sale, and I needed help from a good, honest agent. Marc was really helpful and made a quick move to load my house up on his MLS in this bad market. I ended up renting my property so had to take my property off the market, but I really have to say marc was deligent and kind to help out even though there was no gain on his part. I will choose Marc, if I have to sell my house again.
Excellent Agent Service
I have worked with Marc on two occasions now. I first moved to Austin from Chicago about three years ago. I hooked up with Marc to help find an apartment. He spent a lot of time with me in finding exactly what would be right for me. It was nice to see an agent that cared about my wants instead of his commission first. I spent two years in the apartment he found and was ready for the move into ownership. Once again I went back to Marc to help find a place. He went above and beyond what we expected. We looked through several different places on all sides of town. We found the perfect place and Marc worked very hard to get the best deal for us.
