Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Currently, foreclosures tend to be the big seller due to pricing and very motivated seller's. Many buyer's are capitalizing with Huge Savings, significant Tax Benefits and immediate Front-End Equity.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
1st Time Home Buyer's. Being etched in the memory of that 1st home, being apart of the emotions and memories that transform a house into a home.

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Mortgage Lending. During a "Boom" market loan underwriters cannot keep up with the demand, during a "Bust" market....they run and hide. Regardless of the economic market, lending is always the major challenge.

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
Recently, a young couple with 2 small children and years of being apartment dweller's contracted to buy a bank foreclosure at a price of $88,000. As 1st Time Homebuyer's, strapped for cash, full nervous energy, questions and concerns; they were ecstatic when the lender's appraiser valued the property at $143,000 in the current market... some $55,000 below current appraised value (a 40% Savings). This young couple bought a 2200 Sq. Ft. home with an in-ground pool and picked up $55,000 in Front-End Equity.

What is your best characteristic?
Patience and Understanding. Remember, what is just another piece of paper to the professionals involved in completing the real estate transaction may represent the largest single purchase expenditure or the largest single asset sale to a buyer or seller.

Who or what inspires you the most?
1st Time Homebuyers. Being a part of the memory that turns a house into a home.

What is the best advice you ever received?
It's not what you make, but rather what you save that makes you rich.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The DFW Metroplex... home of the Dallas Cowboys "America's Team"... the Dallas Marvericks (Go Derk!!)... the Fort Worth Stockyards... great Employment Opportunities and Salaries... a Low Cost of Living... Warm Weather... and an International Airport. Who could ask for anything more??
