David & Yvonnca Landes have been in the real estate business individually for 15 years. As a couple, they have worked together for the last 12 years. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, David moved to Knoxville as an adolescent in the mid eighties, graduated from Farragut High School and went on to study marketing at the University of Tennessee. Immediately following college, he began his career as an appraiser. This start led to forays in all different aspects of the real estate industry. Yvonnca, conversely, was born and raised in the town of Harriman, TN, a small, close knit community about 25 miles west of Knoxville. Her love of all things real estate began with her career as a mortgage broker in 1997. Since their beginnings in the industry, both David and Yvonnca have continued to expand their business interests to include all aspects of real estate. Both are appraisers, mortgage brokers, and Realtors. They are the proprietors of First Equity Mortgage Group, LLC and The Appraisal Firm, LLC. Their affiliate broker’s licenses are hung with Realty Executives Associates. Through their businesses and affiliations, they currently work & specialize in several fields of the real estate industry. Both ply their trades - not only as Realtors, appraisers, and mortgage brokers, but also as real estate consultants and investors as well. Recently, Yvonnca has ventured into the arena of home staging, answering a demand from many of her clients and fulfilling her passion for design. This has led to the creation of their newest company, Landes Staging & Home Design. Under this umbrella, a team of professionals is available for the simplest of design projects and consultations (from re-decorating to remodeling), to large scale home staging, geared towards helping sellers portray their homes in the best possible light, to maximize sales prices and minimize marketing times.
