- After spending years in an office environment, I really enjoy tromping around farms, through woods and across creeks to make a paycheck!
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- The most challenging issue I face as a Realtor in this market is helping clients to understand the true value of their home (and the fact that it may not be what it was 2 years ago). Sadly, there's too many agents willing to "buy" a listing by pricing it too high - which only serves to frustrate the seller and lengthen the whole process. This is why I choose to be honest up front, even when it's not the most popular opinion.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- One of my most interesting moments was showing a major country music celebrity through some pretty nice homes. It was very surreal.
- What is your best characteristic?
- I am honest to a fault. If you ask a question, be prepared for the true answer - not the answer you want to hear.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- I'm inspired by those women who seem to be able to do it all. Work, family, friends, horses, volunteering, etc. If they can do it, I can too!
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- "You can't be a secret agent." You need to get your name out there and the best way to do that is to provide quality service to your clients. Word of mouth referrals is worth more than any advertising you could ever buy.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- I would stay right where I am. I love the rolling hills of TN. After 8 years, I'm still in awe every fall when the leaves change - and every spring when everything turns green! Absolutely gorgeous!
