"Wendy ****isted me with the sale of my primary home in a very short time period and ****isted me with getting a fabulous deal on property where I built the home of my dreams on a large site near the water. Since then, she has also found me many great investment properties that we have resold. She is dedicated to her clients and works to find the BEST deals in and around Myrtle Beach!!!
Finding Wendy as my real estate agent has not only changed my home but my full-time job now revolves around buying and investing in properties in the area. Her knowledge of the market is outstanding!!!"

2003
How many years have you been in Real Estate?
5 years
What is the average home price in your market?
$198,000
Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
Oceanfront condos have been reduced to such low prices that many families can now enjoy this luxury. The new Market Commons live/work concept features Myrtle Beach as a FIVE STAR destination to SHOP, DINE, LIVE, WORK, AND PLAY. This features a premier location for upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment in Myrtle Beach.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
Assisting families and individuals with the purchase of a primary home or a secondary home or an investment is very important. My knowledge of the area as a native allows me to key in on what individuals seek in a neighborhood. Also, knowing the various areas of the beach and the outlying areas, I can provide full service regardless of the client's needs. Past experience and history and knowledge of the beach areas and popular attractions helps investors to make sound decisions in purchasing preconstruction or resale properties.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
The most challenging issue facing Realtors today is being in ten spots at once. This job is demanding and requires 24 hour work days- not just 24 hours in the day. The work is never complete, so there is always a goal to aim toward.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
The most inspiring moment as a Realtor was when I assisted a retired couple in the purchase of their first home. The home was twice as large as the apartment they previously rented and the mortgage was much less than they paid in rent. They were thrilled to have a 2 car garage not to mention a brand new home - with two sinks in the master bathroom.
What is your best characteristic?
My best characteristic is my genuine concern for people and clients. I strive to serve all of my clients and be available when they call or need something. This is a very important job because people are investing a large sum of money and it's imperative to their future happiness.
Who or what inspires you the most?
Living and selling in sunny Myrtle Beach, SC is the only inspiration. I am so fortunate to live in an area with so many wonderful, friendly southerners and to be surrounded by miles and miles of beaches and endless golf communities. The weather is always sunny in Myrtle Beach. It's no wonder this is the top destination for many retirees.
What is the best advice you ever received?
The best advice I ever received was from my parents who advised me to go to college and get an education. After completing undergraduate school and working, I then went to graduate school to obtain my master's degree. After working as a teacher and an administrator, I decided I wanted to do something where I had more flexibility. The background and learning not to mention many nights of intense studying prepared me to work hard. Both jobs are fun and hard work but it's always great to have options in life.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I have lived in various areas of the country including Washington and Tennessee. As a native of Myrtle Beach, I love the beaches and being in such a beautiful area - near my family- is the best place I could be. I love extending and helping others to see what a fabulous place this is to live and visit.
