Excellent First TIme Home Buying Experience
A year ago this time, I had no interest in buying a home. Two months before the expiration of the Federal Income Tax Credit deadline, some things changed and I was tasked to find a suitable home to purchase in order to qualify for the tax credit. After considering close friends who were real estate agents, I looked online and saw the many listings that Mr. Saucier had in areas of Columbia that looked appealing to me. We made contact and looked at over two dozen homes in a two week time period before I settled on one that was close to my mother's future retirement home. The price, the amount of work needed to make it livable and the location made the home I purchased an excellent buy and a steal compared to the homes in the neighborhood. I have lived there for several months now and I extremely happy with my purchase.

House hunting is never fun but I have to say that working with Paul was a "walk in the park". He quickly grasped what type of home we were looking for and helped us to sort out what really made sense for our needs. I bombarded him with questions and requests and he always came through in a timely manner. Once we found what we were looking for he was super efficient in getting us ready for closing. Being from out of town...he helped us in any way he could to insure a smooth transaction and saved us having to travel back and forth unecessarily. He always stayed on top of things and continued to help us even after the closing! With all the red tape in this economy - that was huge!
