After three months of very little activity, sales volume is up sharply, as investors and first time buyers are now competing for foreclosed and distressed homes.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
It's a great feeling to help people fulfill their dreams.

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
The competition! There are huge numbers of real estate agents vying for your business! In one local market last year there were 684 sales and 542 REALTORS® - that's 1.26 sales per agent! That's a tough market!

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
It's a very interesting time to be in real estate now. The Obama administration is proposing all kinds of things that affect home ownership, both good and bad. Careful attention to what our leaders do is always important in a free society.

What is your best characteristic?
Honesty. I will serve my clients' needs, even when it might not benefit me.

Who or what inspires you the most?
Our country's founding fathers: Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, George Washington, Thomas Paine, Stephen Hopkins; all of whom stood up for what they believed in, for the benefit of their fellow citizens, even when the price was death itself. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" John 15:13

What is the best advice you ever received?
To remember that integrity is to always do the right thing, even when no-one else knows.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Anywhere in the United States of America. Despite its faults, it is BY FAR the best country in which to live, in every possible way! Freedom, opportunity, property rights, personal rights, rule of law, education, health care, you name it! Nowhere is it done better than right here!
