MR buy a previous house with George Egberts and would not recommend them to other home buyers.
This appraiser was sent to appraise my property in Center City Philadelphia, despite being from over 45 minutes away. He had very limited understanding of the neighborhood, had no understanding of modern homes, and was unable to understand LEED or differentiate between high-end custom homes and very low-grade homes in need of complete renovations. He may be of use in suburban settings, but he was an inappropriate choice for Center City and should not be engaged to evaluate a market so outside of his understanding.
