As another agent, I expressed interested in a property on behalf of my client and tried to settle on a price, he was so arrogant and full of himself I would have walked away if the property had been for me. Who knows how many people actually did walk away from a deal just because of his pompous attitude. He is like a used car salesman...

My husband and I recently got married and were excited to buy our very first home. Little did we know all the things involved in purchasing a home. Steve was amazing though. Home buying and selling is inevitably a stressful process. We had been through it before and knew what to expect. Unfortunately, Melani added to the stress by not responding to our concerns, failing to address important issues, and being generally unpleasant. Her scolding tone might have been tolerable if she had done a competent job and represented us fairly. However, this was not the case. If you want an agent who’s ineffective, disingenuous, sanctimonious, and rude, Melani is the one for you. Otherwise, seller beware!

Mr. Bolden searched endlessly with my, at the time fiance, and I to find the perfect 1st home to begin our future. We looked at over 100 different properties for a span of nine months, and I must say it was a long nine months. We put in several offers over the course of the nine months and were outbid on all of them. We were ready to give up hope until Mr. Bolden found it. He called us one Sunday afternoon and said, "LaTrice, I found your house. It's OLD, but it's your house!" I wasn't to enthused because we hadn't been having the best luck, but when we walked in I immediately knew he was right. The house wasn't even on the market yet, he had gotten us first dibs on viewing it not to mention on putting in the offer. He was so patient, knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and resourceful. We couldn't have found our jewel without him, and I'm so glad he was the one to help us. Since then, I've referred anyone I know to Mr. Bolden because I know he'll give them his best, just like he did for us. I look forward to working with him in the future.

Brian is very rude, talking with attitude to us, did not want to show us the property, he made us wait for him many days. Looks like he is not interested in serving his owner at all. I asked him to contact the owner directly, but he and his office secretary rudely said that they will not let me talk to the owner. The lady rudely told me that the business is old and good, up and running since 1905... I have never seen people like this before, will never recommend them to anybody. Anyone can tell me how to contact the owner of the property?

I hope the owner of the property finds and reads this comment. I had the worst experience with this guy; bad attitude towards prospect tenant, not interested in serving to his client (property owner), I called his office on Bustleton Ave on Monday and he said the he can't show me the property before Thursday - I had to wait 4 days for him. His office clerk is even worse, the lady on the phone was harsh, I asked her if there was a parking lot near the office and she said that's your problem. Now they are dragging the application process just because they want to do so, or worse; they hate certain people...

I worked with Jim Murray and he did a heck of a job. He was available any time I wanted to go out a see a HOME, answered all my questions in a timely fashion and was very upfront and honest which is what I respected most. I would def use him in the future.... CPH

This agent was very discourteous and untrustworthy. If she is the seller's agent and you're the buyer, spell out every detail of the transaction on paper. Melani will try to debate every word of a contract. Also, do not bow to her high pressure tactics. Know your deadlines and stick with them. She will try and bend the rules. If she is your agent (either buyer or seller), beware that her curt and sometimes cruel mannerisms may sour potential negotiations. There are many other good agents out there. Best to avoid Urban & Bye altogether.

I have lived in Mayfair for almost 20 years. His section 8 "program" is ruining our community. Kensington here we come! I guess he dosent live here so he dosent care its a shame I whould say I dont know how he sleeps at night but I am sure its on 1000 tc sheets! I cannot express my disgust on how his program works or who he stands for. He rents to people that do not take care of the properties are loud beyond hours and the drug dealing is already starting! This is the reason why people are moving out of a neighborhood they have grew up in a neighborhood they love! He is a realtor also so I guess he figured he would pick up the moving people to relocate them to a better neighborhood until he decides to ruin that one! My friend called him to rent a property and he said he would not because she was not part of the program and when asking what program he mean the section 8 program?? Is THIS LEGAL?? DISCRIMINATION BECAUSE SOMEONE CAN PAY FOR THERE OWN RENT?? I feel sorry for him!! LOSER
