Positively Has no Heart
I have lived in Mayfair for almost 20 years. His section 8 "program" is ruining our community. Kensington here we come! I guess he dosent live here so he dosent care its a shame I whould say I dont know how he sleeps at night but I am sure its on 1000 tc sheets! I cannot express my disgust on how his program works or who he stands for. He rents to people that do not take care of the properties are loud beyond hours and the drug dealing is already starting! This is the reason why people are moving out of a neighborhood they have grew up in a neighborhood they love! He is a realtor also so I guess he figured he would pick up the moving people to relocate them to a better neighborhood until he decides to ruin that one! My friend called him to rent a property and he said he would not because she was not part of the program and when asking what program he mean the section 8 program?? Is THIS LEGAL?? DISCRIMINATION BECAUSE SOMEONE CAN PAY FOR THERE OWN RENT?? I feel sorry for him!! LOSER
Thanks for ruining Bleigh Street
I live on the 3500 block of Bleigh Street in Mayfair (NE Phila), on which Mr. DeMarco owns the 3541 property. It's a Section 8 house, inhabited by one adult and anywhere 4 to 6 kids. (Kids come and go at random.) Does Mr. DeMarco know anything about who lives in this house he owns? I can fill him in on who they are: disruptive, rude, and inconsiderate people with no regards for others. I've lived on Bleigh Street for over 30 years, and never have I witnessed such an abomination. The adult "mother" is often gone, leaving the children-all of whom have problems-to terrorize the neighborhood. Today, they set a chair on fire and almost burned down their own and their adjacent neighbors' houses. They fight in the street, give other neighbors an attitude, and the one little boy runs around urinating on others' property. Not to mention, the house itself is in poor shape. For starters, their front lawn needs work. Mr. DeMarco, do us all a favor. Take care of this problem you brought here
Very Satisfied
I have read these other complaints and I do not understand why these comments were made. My experience with Blair was very satisfying. He was very knowledgable and knew just how to treat me. I was new to the experience and he took extra care in showing me the ropes. I have recommended him to many.
Extemely Frustrated Neighbor to his Rental/Section
I am a neighbor to some of Blairs rental/section 8 properties and I am not a very happy Neighbor! He does NOT do very well back ground checks on his renters nor does he care to help keep our neighborhood stay quiet, quaint, DRUG FREE nor safe for the hard working home owners on our block. He is ignorant and only cares about getting his money every month. He refuses to rent his homes to the average working man for a decent price so instead he deals with the city and rent only to section 8. I am not downing anyone that has section 8 housing but 17 homes on 1 city block? I think thats just a bit rediculous! I feel sorry for anyone who deals with this sorry of an excuse for a man in the future.
Also Screwed Over
I was also screwed over by Blair DeMarco, he seems to take pride in screwing people over, mostly older folks and easy prey, he had also threatened my life, to a point of where I feared for my life, I am new to the area and he took full advantage of that, I do not suggest anyone ever do business with this poor excuse for a whatever he may be considered. Thank you.
Screwed Over
Purchased one of Blairs rehabed homes he was supposed to come back and finish work on the property, but its been two years and I have not been able to get hold of him, left messages sent e-mails, no response, turned him in to the better business bureau. From what I understand i'm not the only one that he has done this too, I don't recommend doing business with him.
