Who is Becky Nguyen? Surprise….didn’t know I was a Caucasian, did you? Most folks relate to Nguyen as an Asian name, and are caught off guard when they see a blond haired, blue eyed lady standing before them. I am blessed to be married a very fine Vietnamese man of 24 years. Don and I have two kids, Andrew and Ashley. Andrew is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, and resides in Pittsburgh. Ashley is a recent graduate at Temple University as a journalist major. Don is a lead machinist at the Jacob Street, Mount Joy TE Connectivity facility. I, personally, am a very loyal, devoted individual, and my strengths lie with building positive relationships, negotiations, follow-through, and attention to details. I have a very diverse background in administrative roles, corporate event planning, and sales with a hotel. Years ago, I assisted pre-school classes, and sold Tupperware. “Why Real Estate?” Through the years, it was always a profession I was interested in, yet I was reluctant. In real estate, flexibility is the name of the game. I understand that individuals are busy, and Realtors adapt to client’s schedules. My first and foremost responsibility was taking care of the family. As the kids grew older, their activities became more intense, and time was devoted to their activities when not at work. The straw that broke the camels’ back came when I was laid off from a hotel sales position in 2009. I realized that it was time to reevaluate my career path. Don and I also became empty-nesters. Though the real estate market was slow, I learn best through hands-on approaches; thus, it was the ideal time to take the plunge, and join the real estate market. I'm enjoying every bit of it. And so, here I am, ready and willing to serve others. I will help you purchase properties listed with any broker in our geographic region.
