- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- The most challenging issue today is financing. It has taken a complete 360 this year. Mortgage companies and banks have over compensated for their lack of diligence in the past. They have made the process longer and difficult and we as Real Estate Professionals have rolled with the punches this year. Seems like we have to spend more time and effort on each and every transaction to get it to settlement. We are on top of every issue that arises to complete the transaction.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- I had a client that bought a forclosure. When I ordered the title, I realized that the deed had been conveyed incorectly over the years. With each and every transaction, the mistake was made over and over again right up to the sheriff acquisition. My broker being an attorney rewrote the deed for our client free of charge and I traveled all over locating previous owners of the property to sign off on the mistake. It took some time but we were able to insure a clear title for our client. If this buyer was a "cash buyer" he would not have to obtain title insurance ( some people go that route) and he would have this issue when he went to sell the property. Thankfully that will never happen to him. We call that practicing "hard " Real Estate but never the less, getting the job done for our client.

- To do the best you can and then some
