- Starting out in this market has been challenging for me but it's also given me the time to learn how to do things the right way.

- The project I did on the Long Beach Peninsula in WA was a fantastic opportunity. I met wonderful people and it was a good example of the kinds of challenges that need to be addressed.

- I'm tenacious and won't quit until I find a way to get from A to Z.

- Ordinary people coping and helping each other in extraordinary circumstances.

- Don't be reluctant to say "I don't know" but follow up quickly with "but I'll find out."
