As far as prices, the Portland area remains a strong real estate market. Prices are rising more slowly right now than a couple of years ago, but they are still rising. Demand is high, especially in the more affordable price ranges.
Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
I enjoy developing a relationship with clients. I like to help people have fun with the process, and assist them with clarifying their goals and dreams. Buying and selling can be smooth and easy, and I like to help create that. It's nice to be experienced enough to help people avoid the pitfalls, and

It's difficult when my buyer faces a multiple offer situation. Fortunately my clients often have their offer accepted, but sometimes they lose out on a house they had bonded with. Buying or selling is an emotional experience for most people, and that's okay. My job is to be that neutral party and I know that in most cases, there is a an even more suitable home on its way.
