"I'll make this brief because it is better not to dwell on the negative. The motto of "Live and Learn" seems appropriate to summarize my experience. While Kim claims to live by the motto of "doing unto others as you would have them do unto you", and she speaks about being "ethical" and having "integrity", in the end they were just words. Actions always speak louder than words. I did not feel that my experience with Ms Kapustik was a very positive one or that my needs were a priority. I know that times are tough and she probably needs the sales, but it shouldn't be at the cost of her customers."

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
Real Estate is a passion. Seeing through the buyers eyes to find them the home they invision is incrediable. Negotiating the sale and creating a Win-Win for both buyer and seller lets you know you are working hard and with integrity. Marketing a home to sell at the highest and best net profit in the shortest period of time and least inconveince to the seller is a balancing act. But, when it sells in 2-3 weeks (our average days on the market) is very exciting. You know you did it right. We work hard and play hard to have balance in our lives.
What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Our challange today is re-educating the buyer and seller with today's shifting market. Being on top of all the wonderful technology to utilize the marketing tools. But, most of all, downplaying the Media. Today's Media is concentrating on the 5% of people not paying their mortgages. Just imagine if they were reporting on the 95% paying their house payment each month. The economy would recover more quickly and the home market would not have the challenges it does today. But, with challanges we work off of experience and top notch skills to help buyers and sellers today.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I was working with a buyer who did not have all of the downpayment they would need to purchase a condo. We did a brainstorming session. They did not have parents or relatives who would be able to help them financially. The idea came to me. They were hair stylist working in an upscale shop for many years. I asked them to talk about why they wanted to purchase the condo and brainstorm with their clients how they could borrow funds to close. I was shocked when they brought to me one of their clients and told me they would be happy to give the couple the down payment needed since they had always been available to them when they needed great service from the hairstylist. This was their way of saying "Thank You". True Story...the hair stylist closed on their new condo 2 weeks later. They all thanked me and to this day I will brainstorm with clients to help them attain their goals whether it is buying or selling their home.
What is your best characteristic?
Integrity...Being Fair, Honest and Ethical to each and every client.
Great Communication Skills and Better Listening skills. By asking thought provoking questions and really listening to my clients needs and wants we can save our clients time and money.
Who or what inspires you the most?
My father who told me I could do anything I put my mind to. I carry a belief system of "what you think about, you bring about" and that leads me to a great day! I am inspired by many of my clients - the willingness to value us as their trusted advisors. These are the homes we seller quicker and at a higher price.
What is the best advice you ever received?
Live by the Golden Rule. Do onto others as you would want them to do onto you. One of the easiest lessons in life to live by. You make others happy and they in return value you.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Cleveland Ohio in the Spring, Summer and Fall. So much culture, festivals, and traditions. You can never get tired of the fairs. So many Art Walks, Metro Park System. 4th of July at Edgewater or Twinsday Festival in Twinsburg. Very exciting times around town. Winters...I'll have to hybernate! *smiles*
