- I have the ability to do something different each day. I meet new people constantly and get to help people save money and find their dream home.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- At times during my career, banks or lenders have been a headache. From postponing closings to gathering the wrong information. Thankfully over the years I now only surround myself with the best in Ohio and nationwide.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- My favorite moment was in 2005 when I helped a low-income family with credit issues and helped them purchase a home. They never thought they could. They were the nicest family. They had been living in an apartment that should have probably been torn down. She was the cleanest housekeeper I had ever seen. She took pride in ever drafty window and wall with chipping paint. Amazing strength. Her husband worked 12 hours a day, 6 days a week just to pay the bills. The moment the mom opened the door for the first time, she cried. She walked into a new kitchen, back yard and for the first time ever, a washer and dryer. It was very emotional standing in the driveway as she thanked and hugged me over and over. Definitely my favorite story. They're still there and probably will be for life.
- What is your best characteristic?
- My clients say they have fun working with me, and we always laugh and see the bright side of situations. I work with some people for months, and you get rather comfortable. I enjoy knowing my job in and out but also making people feel relaxed and enjoy their time with me.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- My father. He was always the go getter and the enthusiast. The creative and social butterfly. Everyone loved him, but I did the most.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- Never leave the house with mismatched socks. (Realtors take off their shoes a lot...)
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- There are a few tropical destinations I have visited recently and have my eye on, but my heart and home is in Cleveland. My town builds character, forced you to appreciate a warm spring day, and pay attention to the leaves changing colors. We have a little bit of everything here and it makes it an interesting place to live.
