- The Cincinnati market has always had a fairly conservative market. The houses range anywhere from $1
- Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
- I enjoy being an agent because I like working with people and meeting people from different walks of life. It's very exciting to me to help someone achieve their goal of buying or selling a home. For me, it's about building relationships with people.
- What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
- I think as an agent we always have challenges and it's very important to always be ethical and honest.
- Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
- I had a couple last year that I worked with. I sold their home within a week and they were looking for a home. They wanted to be in one specific area which made it a little difficult because there were only three houses. We looked at all of them and made an offer on one of them, but it just didn't feel like this was the house for them and they seemed a little hesitant as well. That night I was on the MLS and up popped a new listing in that neighborhood. I called them right away and suggested we look at it just to make sure. Sure enough we looked at it first thing the next morning and they made an offer that was accepted. It was the house for them and it took just a little extra time and effort to find the right one.
- What is your best characteristic?
- I think my best characteristic is listening to my clients. It's not about what I like or dislike or think they should like. It's about what my clients want and need. It's my job to help guide them and make suggestions, but sometimes voicing our personal opinions can get us in trouble.
- Who or what inspires you the most?
- I don't know that I have one particular person that inspires me. I've been fortunate to meet a lot of great people and I have a wonderful family surrounding me.
- What is the best advice you ever received?
- The best advice I've been given or can give is to just keep going. Especially in this business there are a lot of disappointments and ups and downs, but I think as long as a person is honest and does the right thing and not give up you'll achieve your goals.
- If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
- Honestly, I love living here in Cincinnati. I was born and raised here, it's a great place to raise a family. I lived in California for a few years, which was a lot of fun. I think if I had the choice it would definitely be somewhere like Florida.
