Are there any new developments or trends in your area?
When it comes to Dayton real estate there are several trends that impact home buyers and sellers. First, buyers are looking for homes that have been updated and well kept. This means that sellers have to remove the wallpaper and update the home if they want to sell for a good price. Second, homes that lack good maintenance and haven't been updated are sitting for months until a desperate home sellers accepts a low offer. New construction is a popular option in the Dayton area.

Why do you enjoy being a real estate agent?
PEOPLE! We love people. We enjoy working with wonderful people. It is so fun helping people find a place they can enjoy with their family and build memories that will last a life time! We enjoy helping people find their dream home. We understand that dream homes come in all sizes and price ranges!

What is the most challenging issue you face as a Real Estate Professional?
Short sales! Although home buyers are looking for a great deal, homes that are subject to a bank approved short sale often take FOREVER to close. It is not uncommon for a bank to take 3-5 months to just give a buyer a Yes or No on their purchase offer. It is unbelievable and unacceptable how banks are dealing with short sales and foreclosures!

Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
One of the most rewarding experiences I've had as a Realtor was finding a home for a widow with a very limited income. She had been in an apartment for many years since her husband died of a heart attach. She never thought she would ever have a home again. With the help of a great mortgage officer we were able to find her a beautiful home she could afford.

What is your best characteristic?
Our desire to listen to what a client needs and wants in their real estate transaction.

Who or what inspires you the most?
Jesus Christ inspires me because his life has been an example for billions of people. His character, integrity, and ministry inspire me to follow his example.

What is the best advice you ever received?
Do unto others as you would want to be done unto.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
In the mountains near the ocean!
