Nothing but problems renting a house through Doug. Red flag when he took a call during lease signing and said he needed to close something because he 'over-extended' himself and could not pay his bills. The owners requested a background and financial check which he did not do. He told us we could move in a few days early, which we found out was not ok with the owners when the owners daughter came to check the house the day we moved in. On average takes Doug ~1 month to return phone calls. Tells us he is scheduling maintenance on house (furnace cleaning, plumber, etc) but never follows through. Instead of resolving issues over the phone, schedules appointments and then shows up 20 minutes late or calls to say he can't do anything and will call someone else instead. He has done this repeatedly and takes 1-2 weeks each time. I have contacted the owners of the house directly several times and Doug has lied to them about work done on the house and about having conversations with me.
