We rented an apartment in Hancock street in Brooklyn throgh NY Apartment Petra Loewen LLC. All was exactly as desribed and posted on the internet. We were greeted personally and Petra was always there when we had special questions and needs. always again thank you Petra for everything

Hello, I sublet an apartment from Petra Loewen for 2 months about a year ago. I was desperate for a place and she seemed like a nice person. So without knowing the area I agreed to a sublet and paid an 1800 deposit for the 2 months. The area turned out to be very bad, she was charging way over the going rental value (which I guess is normal) and the neighbors were a little crazy. (We would be woken up in the middle of the night by the people below us claiming we were making noise.) Anyways, that is besides the point. During our stay Petra acted fine and returned our calls and wrote me a very nice email for paying early. Little did I know the minute I moved out she would not answer one email (I sent at least 15, maybe 20) or phone call from the minute I moved out, and asked for my deposit back. I was completely shocked. I had left it in perfect condition and when I fought the charge with a Renter's association who only mediates she proceeded to say I had left it in deplorable condition

we were personally greeted in Treetop with a welcome drink and a gift basket. our stay was extremly comfortable, just as advertised. NY is the best!!!!
Warning- Petra Loewen is a fraudster
Never ever again. I live six month in NYC because I did an internship there. Together with my boyfriend I lived one month in one of Petra Loewen's Apartments. Everybody I later asked (NYorkers, colleagues and even two policemen) assured me, that this part of Brooklyn is one of the most dangerous ones. So I think the Aps are really overpriced. And moreover, at the end of our stay, she tried to keep my deposit with the statement that we damaged the Apartment and destroyed furniture. That´s unbelievable. At the last day we did a walk through and everything was fine. Fortunate for me, I had some pictures that proved that there was nothing wrong. But still, I had a hard time contacting her. All of the sudden she was so unprofessional and insulting.
Nice time in New York
I spent four weeks in the Sea shell apt. Galian was already waiting for me and she was very helpful during the whole time I spent here. The apt is bright and sunny and comfortable. I found here everything I needed. The neighborhood is friendly and one can buy everything you need. Quick connection to Manhattan.

A neat place to stay
We got a very nice person, who gave us a nice introduction to our apartment. We had no problems at any time. The area we stayed is a safe place. There are good public connection with the train even late night.

we had a lovely time, were greeting personally with a welcome drink and a bag of gifts, what a welcome indeed! the apartment was as on the website indicated, close to all and we 6 had a great time in Brooklyn and Manhattan. The beds are great and the internet sooo fast and free!!!!. Plus: The coffeeshop in the building is lovely, the muffins delicious and the latte great. we will be back, thanks again

nice stay
everything was ok. THE FLAT WAS VERY CLEAN. heating was very hot and noisy.( That was the only Problem) People were very friendly. we will come back

good location near subway and street mall, nice apartment and clean, it look like in pictures fully equipped with wi fi connection. 20 mins far from manhattan. nice welcome.You can live like the real brooklyn way of life
