AWFUL REALTOR
Hasselt was the realtor for the seller in our deal. He took more than a week to respond to any questions or offers, even during the 2009 buyers market. His representatives were not licensed brokers and knew nothing. They provided much misinformation. They did not show up for the closing, did not provide a key to the house (our realtor took care of these things) and then, to top it all off, called our realtor two weeks after we had closed and moved in, to suggest that we set up a closing date. Incompetant is too weak of a word for them! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!! (I am an experienced home buyer - this is my 4th home purchase)
Mr. Hasselt is a good honest realtor
I purchased a bank reo/foreclosure house a number of years ago. We negotiated at a great price with the bank and the deal was completed in no time. When I went to the house after the purchase was completed, the ceiling to the house came down due to rain. I was left with a hole in my roof. I went to Joe's office hysterical and even though the deal was complete, I asked Joe for advice and Joe handed me a check to help handle the repairs. I felt a relief that even though the deal was completete with the bank and I now owned the home, Joe Hasselt Realty was still there for me and helped me with the repairs. He had no obligation to help but morally felt my pain as a home owner. I give Kudos when well deserved, I plan to buy property again from Joe Hasslet Realty, They may be busy to return calls but show up in person and I can assure you'll be well taken care of.....
Hasselt does not seem to care
I have spoken to members of his staff, they show lack of care, professionalism. They seem very selective about who they do business with. Very strange. Must be coming from Joe himself

I heard a number of good things about this company so I decided to give them a try. However, after calling a number of times and leaving multiple messages in reference to one of there listings, I received no returned call. I'm starting to wonder if the agency is as good as I've been told. Especially now, when the real estate marget seems to be slowing down, at the least, I would expect a call back. Mr. Hasselt, you might want to look into this for I'm sure you are losing good business to others as a result of the lack of professionalisim.
