Just Call Doug!

After the unsuccessful efforts of another agent who listed our home in Reno, we found Doug Kendall and are so grateful and happy that we did! Doug is an exceptional agent who went above and beyond. He was complimentary about our home and suggested minor changes that would make the home more inviting to buyers. He took gorgeous pictures of our home and set up an exclusive web site showcasing our property. He was generous with his time, gave us great advice, and had a refreshing positive attitude in the midst of all of the challenges of our sale. We really had someone looking out for our best interest. I live in Oregon and wanted to buy a home for retirement. I found the market in the Reno area to be better priced for my budget. I contacted a couple of realtors, but none seemed to take my inquiry seriously. My search led me to Doug Kendall of Desert Diamond Realty. His response was immediate and sent me listings meeting my criteria. I felt he was interested in having my business, he let me make choices that suited me not his listings, and supported me through a difficult and frustrating mortgage process. Since this was a distant business transaction, it was always helpful to get immediate answers to my phone calls and e-mails. Shortly I will be moving to a wonderfully priced home in Fernley NV., and will be looking forward to working with Doug on other real estate opportunities. Easily the Best

Doug and his team are easily the best realtor's we have worked with. They always made us feel like we were their top priority. Even though we knew Doug was busy, he never let us feel that way and was extremely patient with our questions and issues. He always got back to us very quickly. The office has a family like atmosphere, and we felt welcome every time we came in. Much different from the national brokers. It was the little thinigs they did like letting us ship a few packages to their office, that made our move and house search less stressful. Doug is very knowledgeable of the Reno area and the different neighborhoods. His knowledge helped us find the house and place in town were we would be happy. Doug did his very best for me! You the man!

Doug went to bat for me when the thing started to go awry. I purchased a bank owned home and things started to drag on with the paperwork and such. Doug made the tough calls and I am sure he made a few folks upset, but I think he's TOPS and the reason my home finally closed a full 3 days BEFORE the last day of escrow. There are so many things slanted in the banks favor and they have no accountability to give you a straight answer on anything. It's being reviewed. We don't have an answer on that yet. The negotiator was emailed and I left a phone message for them. We just don't know if or when it will close. (huh?) Blah, blah buh blah blah and more blah blah. Just a bunch of excuses for not getting the job done in my opinion. Doug wasn't having ANY of that because I told him I had already purchased a round trip ticket and would lose out if I was not on that plane. I had also brought up a stove, microwave and dishwasher that I needed to unload at the home. He took to explaining to them that according to the signed contract - we put in the contract on or before the end of the month - with the emphasis on BEFORE!! As in please close this escrow as soon as possible. A few hours later the folks at escrow had the blah blah "banks approval" to go ahead and close and I got the key to my place. Professional, dedicated, and the knows the Reno ma

What more could I ask for? Doug was finding homes that were exactly what I wanted and at a price that was incredible! The home I bought was only about $60.00 a square foot! He did everything, negotiated the price down and got me a small escrow extension just before the close. I am so happy with everything and he even was able to recommend a quality repair service to fix the repairs from the inspection BEFORE I moved in to the place. Their pricing was very reasonable for the work that they did. I can honestly say that I am 100% pleased and would recommend Doug Kendall without any hesitation to work with any buyers or sellers. Doug helped me to get a great short sale home.

We started looking at condos but with the HOA fees Doug pointed out that I could buy more home with a stick built and use the HOA fee for the loan. So we looked at a few homes then Doug found a home that was priced right and in my favorite area of town. Doug is the best and saved me from buying a house

Doug found the best home for me the second time around. We had seen several homes and then made an offer, but after the inspections were done the first home had some major issues. There were rotting wood supports causing some foundation problems. I remember the inspector said "Run, run away!" Doug did not give up and found a larger home in a better location for less money! We absolutely LOVE our home!

We understand that any profession has certain obligations or job requirements to meet, however you rarely find an individual who surpasses these obligations. Helped me buy a foreclosure in Reno NV

Doug helped me out a bunch. We had several huge obstacles pop up in our journey to buying my home. As each problem presented itself, Doug put the fire out. He gave me some very good solutions and referrals so that I could get the 'deal done'. Buying a home is sometimes a very frustrating experience, but Doug helped me get through the tough times. I recommend Doug if you need someone that will get you to the other side of owning a home in the Reno area. Anyone can help you buy a home, but it takes someone like Doug to make sure you are happy when you step through the front door after the sale.

Trying to help folks that are behind on their home loans. They need to know what options are available to them and that they may qualify for a short sale and avoid a foreclosure, save their credit, owe their lender nothing...and have thier lender pay for the cost of the sale too.
Tell us one of your client success stories or an interesting moment in your profession.
I was helping a buyer and we looked a numerous homes to find the right one and they made an offer over the asking price and they were the second highest offer on a bank owned property. They were very frustrated, but a few days later the listing agent called and told me that the buyers who had offered the highest offer could not complete the sale and my buyers got the home and were extremely overjoyed with the results of their relocation to the Reno area.
