From the beginning, their knowledge, expertise, and friendly personalities made us feel important and put us at ease, providing excellent support from the very start. The short sale process, was at times, very frustrating. But Dana and Rob's expertise helped ease the frustration, and they continuously kept us informed and most importantly, we always felt that they were giving 110% to making sure the job was done, and done right. How did we get so lucky?
When we first considered buying in Reno we were ‘assigned’ to Rob and Dana by the agency receptionist. We were on the same page from the start, and that was the beginning of a multi-year relationship that resulted in our home purchase. Rob and Dana were exceptionally attuned to our wishes, extremely responsive, detail oriented and hard working. We were never pressured, and they were always patient with our timing. But most importantly of all, Rob and Dana are honest, trustworthy, caring people who put the needs of the client first. Stumbled on the Coons, What a Relief!
We stumbled upon Rob and Dana when we decided it was time to buy our first house. They were the first realtors we called and the moons must have been in alignment that day! The current market presented some pretty incredible challenges but their patience and compassion for their clients put us in a home that was better than expected. We Didn't Know What We Were Looking For...
...but Rob and Dana located the perfect house for us. We work out of our home, so we needed some extra room. Did we need a basement, an extra room, a loft? We did not know. I was also incredibly adamant about the home being in an extremely quiet area. Most realtors would have been handcuffed by our desires. Rob and Dana were not. They worked tirelessly to locate the perfect home for us. There is absolutely no question that Rob and Dana Coons are the realtors that need to be called when looking for a new home or investment. Buying a home should be fun, right? Well, after having gone through two different agents with which I had, let’s just say, less than stellar results, I was glad to finally find Rob and Dana Coons. Accountability: They did exactly what they said would do from the beginning - which is not give up until they found me the home I was looking for at a price I could afford - and they did just that! This might sound like a trivial point, but I’ve found not all agents are willing to go the extra mile for their client ~ these two did! Professionalism: I found Rob and Dana to be hard working, honest, and most importantly, they knew how to follow though on all aspects of a sale. I suspect there are always a few “snags” to be expected during “closing time”, and my experience was no different. However, these two were up the the challenge, and we ended up closing early, IIRC. Mine was a modest purchase from which I’m sure they didn’t make a lot of money, but you certainly wouldn’t have known that from the amount of time and energy they devoted. Service after the Sale: I find this aspect to be a huge plus, as they have a great network of contractors who helped me get the home set up the way I wanted it. The contractors they recommended provided services at a fair rate AND did more than was expected of them. Rob and Dana are very pleasant people to work with who are extremely well informed and really work for their client(s). I’m glad to have to opportunity to praise their work and offer a big “Thank You” to both of you!!! Thanks for helping make my dream come true.
From Bad to Abolutely Wonderful
In the process of finding a home to buy we went to LL Realty initially to start the process. They seemed nice enough and we started making offers. The Real Estate agent at LL Realty ran us around in many different directions. We put offers on 3 homes with LL and the response was ALWAYS "someone made a bid immediately after you. We need to raise the offer ...." Finding Rob and Dana was a god send. They came out to Fernley to show us over 15 homes, and they did it efficiently and with a lot of good information on each home. We looked at homes and instead of just agreeing with us they put their "two cents in." When we found a home to put an offer in on, it went as smoothly as I could ever imagine (on my end) and in little time they called us with a "yes" on the first offer we put in. We love our home and thank Rob and Dana for helping us in our search and making it as simple as it could be. They were very informative and extremely easy to work with. THANKS! =)
